The Wine Road of the Chianti Colli Fiorentini has been founded on the 17 April 2000 thanks to the engagement of the Consortium of the Chianti Colli Fiorentini and all those communes, public corporations and companies as Foundation Members, who strove with might and main to realize this ambitious plan in which they believed.

Its goal is to increase the value of a wonderful territory, even if little known, and therefore worthy to become part of Tuscany's international tourism routes.
This initiative has the purpose to increase the value of all the realities that this part of Tuscany can offer: besides its important vine-growing and wine-producing, with numerous productive companies of relief, such as famous restaurants, museums, churches of different periods, monuments and castles, uncontaminated natural parks with famous local fauna, centres for the equestrian tourism, and artisans and artists who are still following the traditions and are producing beautiful manufactures and masterpieces of art .
